Manager Christophe Galtier announced on Thursday that the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner will depart at the end of the season.

Messi has been heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia in recent months, as well as a return to Barcelona.

However, it looks as though his future will become clear in just a matter of days as he embarks on his next chapter.

Spanish outlet SPORT report that Al Hilal ‘intend’ to announce that Messi has signed for them this coming Tuesday.

It is said that the Saudi side are offering the Argentinian around £345million-a-season.

All that’s left now is for Messi to say yes to the move before he joins the same league as his counterpart Cristiano Ronaldo.

Saturday evening will see him play his final game for PSG, a home clash against Clermont.

It will see him conclude his time at the Ligue 1 giants after signing as a free agent following his departure from Barcelona in 2021.

Having scored 21 goals and assisted another 20 this season, Messi remains as one of the best players in world football.

He could be entering the final stages of his astonishing career, one that has seen him win a multitude of club and personal honours.

Al Hilal, who finished 3rd behind Ronaldo’s Al Nassr this season, will be just the third club he’ll have played for should he sign.

It will also see him play outside of Europe for the first time at club level after having huge success at Barcelona and PSG.
