LSU advances to NCAA Women’s National Championship game after beating Virginia Tech 79-72 in an exhilarating second-half comeback

The LSU Tigers advanced to the NCAA Women’s National Championship game after defeating the Virginia Tech Hokies 79-72 in a exhilarating second-half comeback.

Senior guard Alexis Morris led the way for the Tigers with 27 points while star forward Angel Reese recorded a double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds.

This will mark LSU’s first ever appearance in the National Championship game.
