Manchester United have made Mason Mount a summer transfer target after adding Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham to their wish list.

The Red Devils have had a fine campaign so far in Erik ten Hag’s first year in charge, winning the Carabao Cup while they are also still in the Europa League and FA Cup.

And United chiefs are prepared to back the Dutchman in the transfer window to further bolster his squad – with the club already eyeing up potential targets.

According to the Guardian, one name added to Ten Hag’s wish list is Chelsea star Mount, who is yet to sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge.

It is reported that Kane and Bellingham are also top targets, but finances might force United into widening their efforts to sign a midfielder.

Signing Kane will not be cheap with Tottenham prepared to try to ward off interest in their talisman by slapping a huge price-tag on him.

With Bellingham’s price set to be a nine-figure sum, landing both might prove too expensive for the Red Devils.

And as an alternative to the Borussia Dortmund midfielder, Mount has been identified as the ideal ‘Plan B’ target amid his troubles in west London.

The England international has already turned down multiple offers from Chelsea chiefs, who are desperate for the 24-year-old to stay at the club.

However, with his contract expiring in 2024, they are not prepared to let him enter the final year of his deal without an agreement in place.

Mount’s situation has already sparked plenty of speculation with United just one side interested in his services.

Liverpool have been strongly linked, as well as Newcastle, while Manchester City and Juventus are also sniffing around his situation.

There is also huge interest in Bellingham, who has attracted attention from the likes of Liverpool, City and Real Madrid.

Bayern Munich are also rumoured to be looking to bring in Kane as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who joined Barcelona last summer.

Both Tottenham and Dortmund crashed out of the Champions League this week, which might give Kane and Bellingham an added impetus to depart this summer.

The England striker will also enter the final year of his contract at Spurs much like Mount, while Bellingham will see his deal expire in 2025.
