After joining the N.B.C. in 2002, Daly started presenting and producing the late-night chat show Last Call with Carson Daly as well as executive producing New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly from Times Square.

KOME, where he started his broadcasting career, eventually gave Carson the 6–10 pm time slot at KOME’s sister station KROQ, which is situated in San Jose, California.

The Actor rose to the prominence of success after he began hosting and executive-producing N.B.C.’s reality music competition, The Voice, in 2011.

Following a snowmobile accident, Carson Daly underwent a groundbreaking medical procedure in which he opened up about a decades-long struggle.

The Voice host suffered chronic lower back pain for many years after suffering from an injury in the 90s.

 He underwent his first back surgery in July, but unfortunately, he needed a follow-up in August. 

Carson has been through the mill the past few years with severe back pain and recently underwent surgery for the second time in three months.

 After injuring his back in a snowmobile accident, The TODAY co-host, 49, who has suffered back pain for decades, announced the procedure’s success on Instagram.

What Happened To The Voice Host?

According to sources, he underwent an Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion surgery, his second back surgery in three months.

The star opened up to his Today co-hosts about a terrifying accident decades ago that has left him with increasing pain.

The accident occurred while he was still working for MTV in the 1990s when he was riding a snowmobile in Aspen, Colorado.

The Voice host revealed that not only had he been knocked unconscious, but he had the frightening moment of not being able to feel anything below his legs.

The accident resulted in him suffering a T12 compression fracture, and though doctors explained it wasn’t severe, his pain became more potent over time.

Carson suffered a T12 compression fracture and took a week off Today to undergo a new minimally-invasive procedure titled Intercept, and he returned to work.

HelloMagazine claim, The Voice host updated admirers following his post-surgery checkup and had taken time off work to recover from his surgery.

Following the accident, Carson explained that the only solution was pain management. Still, to make things worse, he had a bad reaction to prescription pills and opted for “physical therapy, yoga, massages, and cupping.

The Voice host had a spacer in his spin and joked that the device looked similar to figures from a nativity scene.

In his Instagram, Carson posted a photo of his X-ray on Instagram, along with the caption: “Hello. Quick update – he had my 1st post spine fusion surgery checkup with @andrewhechtmd & everything looks great. Also, we found the missing pieces from our nativity scene!

Furthermore, Carson grew emotional, opening up about how much the pain began to affect him once he started his own family with his wife, Siri Daly.

Following his surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, the Voice host expressed gratitude to Dr. Andrew Hecht and his team.
