The Disney+ series “Obi-Wan Kenobi” is all about the titular Jedi — portrayed once again by Ewan McGregor — preparing for a confrontation with Darth Vader (Hayden Christiansen), returning Princess Leia Organa (Vivien Lyra Blair) to her parents, and getting his groove back following the fall of the Jedi Order. During this planet-hopping adventure, he ends up on the planet Mapuzo and is helped out by an Imperial defector named Tala Durith (Indira Varma). While hiding out in her safehouse, she informs him of an underground movement called the Hidden Path.
The goals of the Hidden Path are simple: help surviving Jedi get from place to place without drawing the ire of the Empire and prevent Force-sensitive children from falling into the regime’s hands. Scratched on the walls of the safehouse are various symbols, words, and names pertaining to those who’ve used the network to stay alive. One of these names is Quinlan Vos, as pointed out by Kenobi himself, who is amazed and delighted to learn that his longtime ally has survived Order 66 and evaded Imperial imprisonment.
Now that we know Quinlan Vos managed to survive into the early Imperial era, perhaps we’re due for more stories focused on everyone’s favorite unorthodox Jedi.
