Vanderpump Rules’ featured restaurant, TomTom has currently disabled its Yelp reviews. This comes on the heels of the Tom Sandoval/Raquel Leviss cheating scandal. Sandoval is one of the partners in the restaurant lounge along with co-stars Tom Schwartz and Lisa Vanderpump. LVP’s husband, Ken Todd is also involved with the lounge which has been getting a lot of backlash lately. To stop this, the owners have taken matters into their own hands. Read on for more details.

TomTom Disables Yelp Reviews Amid Cheating Scandal

Once the Scandoval broke, diehard Vanderpump fans started to leave negative reviews. Firstly, they headed to Schwartz and Sandy’s which is the second bar lounge opened by the two Toms. Then, they made their way over to TomTom which was the first restaurant that they opened alongside Lisa Vanderpump and her husband, Ken. Unfortunately, these comments and reviews were having such an impact on business, statements had to be released.

Greg from Schwartz and Sandy’s took to the business Instagram to remind fans that the employees depended on the clientele for income. Additionally, Tom Sandoval himself reminded fans who were livid with his actions, that they had a lot of employees between the two locations. Anger should not be displaced on them. Now, all reviews for TomTom have been put on hold per Yelp. More so, when you enter the restaurant’s name, a disclaimer comes up first. It’s an Unusual Activity Alert.

“This business recently received increased public attention, which often means people come to this page to post their views on the news. While we don’t take a stand one way or the other when it comes to this incident, we’ve temporarily disabled the posting of content to this page as we work to investigate whether the content you see here reflects actual consumer experiences rather than the recent events,” the alert reads. Until further notice, no reviews, positive or otherwise, can be left.

Bad Press

When all of this broke and Tom Sandoval finally spoke out, he shared he was stepping back from his business. He knows that they are more than just him but his poor choices are putting them in jeopardy. However, some reviews have remained. One says that they will not support a business made up of cheaters. Someone also said the photo of Tom and Tom kissing should be removed from TomTom. It looks like it will be quite some time before Yelp opens up reviews for the restaurant. The cast still has to film the Season 10 reunion so anything can and probably will happen.

Are you surprised that reviews have been disabled for TomTom or did you know that it would come to this? Is it fair simply because they are public figures? Let us know in the comments and watch Vanderpump Rules Wednesdays on Bravo.
