His wife then called 911, who discovered the doctor getting shot in the back of the head. Brenda mentioned that she was sleeping at the time; meanwhile, the intruder must have unlocked the door and killed her husband by shooting and then fled from the place.

The jury sentenced Brenda to life in prison. Moreover, after the doctor’s death, she moved to Tennessee after selling the family house.
