Ayanda Ncwane Biography Explored

Originally from Ndwedwe Mission, near Durban, South Africa, Ayanda Ncwane is a multi-talented South African.

As the widow of gospel singer S’fiso Ncwane, Ayanda is also the founder of the annual Ayanda Ncwane Women’s Carnival in Ndwedwe.

Ayanda was raised primarily by her grandmother, as her parents were often absent. She was active in drama and opera during her school years.

After completing her education at Nombika High School in Endwedwe, Ayanda decided to pursue a modeling career. She also engaged in farm work.

As a finalist in Miss Teen South Africa, she competed in Miss Teen Durban.

After two years, she encountered challenges and struggled to achieve her desired goals. To support herself, she worked part-time as a waitress while attending auditions.

In addition to appearing as an extra in TV series like “Generation” and “Isidingo,” Ayanda also played the character of a Shangane girl in the series “Mzansi.”

In addition to establishing the Ayanda Ncwane Women’s Carnival, Ayanda has provided a platform for female businesspeople in Durban to engage in meaningful dialogue.

Ayanda is the president of the Africa Gospel Awards and CEO of Ncwane Communications.

Ayanda married the renowned Gospel singer S’fiso Ncwane in 2002 when she was just 18 years old.

S’fiso passed away on December 15th, 2016 due to complications from kidney disease, leaving Ayanda to raise their two children, Ngcweti and Mawenza Ncwane, alone.

To honor S’fiso’s memory, Ayanda wrote a book titled “For The Love Of S’fiso Ncwane.”
