For April Fool’s Day, Klum wore a phony prosthetic belly.
Her supporters, however, were horrified by the joke because it appeared insensitive to people who cannot have children.
Despite the outrage, Klum appeared to be unfazed as she taped America’s Got Talent with a broad smile on her face. According to Metro U.K., the model has described her pregnancy experience as “wonderful” and “pleasant.”
“I mean, it’s quite a bit. It’s something I’ve done four times. “I nursed for eight months with each of my four children, and then I got pregnant again,” she told Jennifer Hudson in February.
“Two times in a row.” Again, [my children are] 18, 17, 16, and 13 years old. Now that I’ve waited a long time, maybe [yes],” she remarked of having another kid.
Klum is now married to German guitarist and producer Tom Kaulitz, and the couple has been open about their relationship. “[Tom] is incredible. “I’m sure it’s not simple to walk into an immediate family with four kids and teens,” he told U.S. Weekly in 2022.

Heidi Klum Pregnancy 2023: Backlash Because Of April Fool Prank
Heidi Klum is facing backlash from some of her 10.7 million Instagram followers after carefully faking a pregnancy on April Fools’ Day.
The Making the Cut host, 49, was faced with quick anger after posing for multiple images with her fellow America’s Got Talent judges while sporting a fake baby belly. The prank was labeled ‘tasteless’ and disrespectful.
On Saturday, the mother-of-four retweeted this photograph was taken by Sofia Vergara, in which she could be seen caressing her false tummy, with the remark, ‘I’m going to be an aunt!!’
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel was photographed cradling her tummy in a changing room while wearing a cropped black sweater, a long skirt, and a pair of tan UGG slippers.
Howie Mandel similarly tried to mislead his fans with the photo, captioning it, ‘Congratulations. @heidiklum Co-workers @sofiavergara and I are the first to know.
Klum subsequently verified she was not pregnant by uploading a photo of Mandel, 67, with a fake baby bulge on his tummy. ‘Congratulations from me to you,’ she joked.
The hoax was blasted by all of their followers, with many remarking that “getting pregnant isn’t a good April Fools’ joke” because “so many women struggle from infertility.”
‘I find this unpleasant and disrespectful to those ladies still struggling with infertility,’ remarked another.
Many others agreed that the cast should be “ashamed” of themselves for doing the stunt. Another anticipated that Klum would be forced to “apologize to everyone upset tomorrow.”
