Stacey Solomon joked that she has ‘no sympathy’ for her husband Joe Swash as he battled ‘man flu’ over the weekend.

The Loose Women panellist, 33, took to her Story on Sunday to say she felt like the ‘world’s worst wife’ because she didn’t feel sorry for Joe, 41, amid his illness.

Stacey told her followers that looking after ‘three kids under three’ was harder and quipped that she wouldn’t mind getting flu herself so she could get some sleep.

The mother-of-five’s three youngest children are baby Belle, two months, Rose, 17 months and Rex, three.

She said in an update on her Instagram: ‘I think I must be the world’s worst wife because all of you are so lovely you’re like ‘I hope Joe’s okay’, but and this is going to sound horrible but I just have no sympathy for man flu!

‘In all fairness I have no sympathy for any flu but yeh I just have no sympathy. He can’t do anything when he’s not well, he’s literally doing nothing.

‘So obviously he is bed ridden yesterday and today and is really trying to get himself back in order from this man flu and I’m also jealous!

‘I feel like going home and licking him so I can get the flu myself and have a couple of days sleep. I feel like three under three (kids) is harder than flu.

‘I had mastitis the other day when he was away in Carlisle and had antibiotics with my red swollen boobs and I just got on with it!’

She captioned the post: ‘Is anyone else like this or am I the world’s worst person?’

Earlier in the day she shared a snap of her three youngest as she told how it just her and them while Joe recovered in bed.

It comes after last week Stacey revealed she was judged for being a single teen mum but ‘couldn’t be prouder’ now of her ‘greatest achievements’.

The TV personality celebrated Mother’s Day last Sunday by sharing a reflective post to Instagram.

She shared a slew of sweet snaps with her five kids – Zachary, Leighton, Rex, Rose and Belle.

In one snap, Stacey beamed as she cradled one-month-old Belle, while another included husband Joe Swash.

Alongside the photos, she penned: ‘I’ve been a mum since I was 17 years old. I barely remember life before becoming mum. I do remember all of the looks I’d get & all of the things that people would say when they saw a ‘child raising a child’.

‘I can’t believe I am now a mummy of 5. And all I can say is, not one of those judgments or opinions back then were true. No matter how real they felt I look at each of them now and I have never felt so proud.

‘They are the kindest most amazing people and I was a part of that. Zachy, Leight, Rex, Rose, Belle You are all my biggest blessings. My greatest achievements. Every single one of you have made me who I am. I’m so grateful for you all. And it’s the biggest privilege raising you all.

She signed off by saying: ‘Forever my little pickles. To the moon and back always. Happy Mothers Day to all of you mum as out there. Sending lots of love to all of you who find today extremely difficult’

Baby Belle was born in February after the star and partner Joe announced the surprise pregnancy in December.

On Monday the star admitted she was feeling proud of herself after tackling a busy day by herself with her five children.

Stacey shared a series of sweet photos of herself and the kids after a busy day of school runs, swimming lessons and baby groups.

‘Proud. Feeling like I smashed it today. Don’t mind if I sound big headed but I felt like a superhuman today,’ a beaming Stacey wrote.

She explained how she hasn’t been feeling her best in recent weeks, writing: ‘For some reason lately I’ve found it easy to tell myself that I’m failing or doing a rubbish job & I never tell myself how well I’m doing.’

She decided to switch her mindset and share her achievements as she admitted ‘three 3 & under & two teenagers is wonderful but it’s not easy.’

Stacey explained how her day got off to a good start as her husband Joe took over one of the night feeds for baby Belle before he headed off for work.

‘We did the school runs and then afterwards I managed to make it for the first time EVER to Rhyme time at the library with Rex, Rose & Belle,’ Stacey continued.

‘Now we are home & I’m ready to collapse on the sofa & start the cluster feeds.’

‘Sorry for the essay. but basically Just a little reminder that you’re doing amazing, even when you feel like you’re not. You’re so incredible don’t forget to tell yourself that sometimes.’

The Loose Women star added that she was spending her evening trying to plan a last minute family holiday during the Easter break.
