Carl Cameron, a former Fox News contributor, has left the network, and fans are wondering what happened to him.
Carl is a well-known American journalist who worked for Fox News for two decades. He was the chief political journalist for Front Page Live, a progressive news aggregator, which he founded in 2019.
After the 2000 elections, Carl was named Fox News’ first Chief Political Correspondent, and after the 2004 elections, he was named its first Chief White House Correspondent.
In June 2006, Cameron resumed his duties as Chief Political Correspondent, covering the 2006 midterm elections and preparation for the 2008 presidential race.
What Happened To Carl Cameron On Fox News?
Carl Cameron, a former Fox News correspondent, says he quit the conservative network because “right-wing presenters drowned out plain news with ideological nonsense.”
Cameron commented in a promotional video describing why he joined FrontPage Live, a website that aims to provide an alternative to the conservative Drudge Report, among other things.
Cameron, who spent more than two decades at Fox News, stated in the video. “Well, it’s not about politics; it’s about facts.” Carl left Fox News in 2017 after 22 years as one of the network’s top political journalists.
According to TVNewser, he expressed his gratitude for “the connections, experiences, and numerous lessons over the previous two decades” in an email to colleagues at the time.

Where Is Carl Cameron Now?
Currently the top political correspondent for FrontPage Live, Carl Cameron said he joined Fox Reporting early on because the “concept of fair and balanced news appealed to me.”
Front Page Live was created by Cameron and Joseph Romm, the founding editor of ClimateProgress, according to the Washington Post.
“A site dedicated to assisting diverse voices and material to go viral, as well as a news source that reflects the principles of the vast majority of good people on our wonderful planet,” the organization states.
According to the Washington Post, Romm sees the group as a “viralizing engine” for the left. According to reports, the site will have audience-tested headlines.
Cameron also stated that articles will have “act now” buttons for viewers to participate in campaigns connected to specific themes in the teaser video.
Carl Cameron Biodata
As a child, Cameron had spent time in Iran with his Jewish father, Harvard academic member C.C. Lamberg-Karlovsky, who worked as an archaeologist. Carl grew up in New Hampshire and attended Bates College.
He began his media career in 1985 at radio stations WFEA and WZID in Manchester, New Hampshire, where he originally worked as a salesperson before moving into broadcasting after the weatherman became ill.
Later, he served as the political director for WMUR-TV, Manchester’s ABC station. Cameron was recruited by Fox News in 1995 and covered the 1996 presidential election.
He became Fox News’ first full-time Capitol Hill Correspondent in 2005 and has since covered every presidential race; Shepard Smith called him “Campaign Carl,” and he is frequently introduced on-air with that moniker.
