At that time, Crockett was serving her sentence for maliciously wounding. Later, she was sent to Greenbrier County but their relationship continued to flourish which led the couple to be engaged afterwards.
But the murder/suicide came to notice months after she was released from home confinement and moved to the Huntington apartment with her fiancé Chris.
The fallout of their relationship started after sharing the same roof as they were unable to escape the control of each other.
Harless’s body was found on the next to truck’s driver side door while Crockett was found on the passenger side floor where she was laid wounded. Her demise was confirmed at the Cabell Huntington Hospital.
