Kamiyah Teresiah Tasha Mobley was taken from a Florida hospital at the age of eight hours on July 10, 1998.

She was kidnapped by a lady disguised as a nurse who entered the room, assisted and conversed with the mother, and then strolled out with Kamiyah in her arms.

Kamiyah was discovered alive in Walterboro, South Carolina, in January 2017.

Gloria Williams, her kidnapper, was not her mother, according to DNA tests. Alexis Kelli Manigo was her given name as a child.

Shanara Mobley, her real mother in Florida, was paid US$1.5 million after a case against the old University Medical Center was settled. She has had three more children since then.

Kamiyah Mobley’s biological mother is Shanara Mobley.

Shanara had a difficult childhood. She was 9 years old when she was assaulted for two years.

She was living on her own by the age of thirteen. She lied about her age all the time to acquire babysitting jobs.

These occupations effectively provided her with money, allowing her to skip school and roam the streets.

Shanara had been pregnant when she was 14, but the pregnancy had ended in a miscarriage.

She became pregnant for the second time at the age of 15 and resolved to do things properly this time.

A young mom she met at a juvenile prison institution inspired her to name her baby Kamiyah. Shanara thought this woman’s kid was gorgeous, and the name just slid off her mouth.

However, as we all know, when Shanara’s daughter Kamiyah was born, the small child was taken away. Shanara tried to kill herself because she was heartbroken.

Gloria Williams is still alive and was found guilty of kidnapping in 2018.

She is still incarcerated in Florida, according to prisoner data. She may, however, be on her way out shortly.

Gloria might have been sentenced to ten years in prison.
