According to the app, he was known as Simon Leviev, The Prince of Diamonds.

He persuaded a number of women to fund his extravagant lifestyle of private jets, luxury hotels, and fast cars.

Hayut was actually born in 1991, in the city of Bnei Brak in central Israel. He is the son of Yohanan Hayut, the chief rabbi of El Al Airlines.

The con man had attended a Talmud Torah elementary school as a child. He has been labeled as an experienced thief from his childhood.

Hayut was charged with theft, forgery, and fraud in 2014. Ultimately, he was sentenced to three years in prison, although was released in bails.

Using the Leviev surname, Hayut robbed three girls on Tinder. He would lure them with his extravagant lifestyle, soon running a Ponzi scheme.

The Twitter Swindler had defrauded over more than $10 million USD from his scheme.

The Tinder Swindler’s main character Shimon Hayut was arrested in 2019. Although, due to Covid breakthrough he was released from jail.

He had recently made headlines for impersonating a frontline worker so that he could get the vaccines.

Cecilie Fjellhoy, Pernilla Sjoholm, and Ayleen Charlotte are the three women.

Fjellhoy, 29, and Shimon had matched in 2018. She was a London student who was convinced to fly to Bulgaria aboard Hayut’s private plane.

Later, the London woman had racked up a debt of more than $200,000 dollars.

Shimon’s next victim is yet to be determined. Pernilla Sjoholm is a woman from Sweden. He lavished her with a limousine ride to the opera, costing her almost $10,000.

Shimon borrowed $45,000 from the Swedish woman, which he eventually reimbursed with a phony watch. She had filed a police report against the serial con artist.
