RIP: Who Is Rhys From KSI Story?
Rhys Langford,19, who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma had been cancer-free for a year until his family saw worrisome tumors.
As mentioned earlier, he started fundraising for Jacob Jones, six, to potentially obtain treatment in America after learning his illness was fatal, including contributing £1,000 of his own money.
Rhys’ mother Catherine, 38, claimed the two boys are from the same Ebbw Vale, South Wales Valleys community, but had never met.
He decided to put up a fundraising website after donating Jacob £1,000 from his savings privately. The campaign has now raised more than £60,000.

What happened To Rhys? Death Cause Revealed
Rhys felt unwell for the first time in 2020 after collapsing while out enjoying racing with pals.
He had been suffering from hip discomfort for about six weeks. The family was called to Ystrad Mynach Hospital in October of that year, about two weeks after the X-ray, and told he had osteosarcoma.
Rhys was then sent to Birmingham Royal Hospital, where doctors verified cancer had spread to his hip and femur.
In August 2021, Rhys rang the bell at Velindre to signify that he had overcome cancer after another 20 weeks of intensive chemotherapy and immunotherapy to limit the odds of the cancer returning. But it wasn’t to last, as he learned in December that his cancer had returned which caused his death.
Rhys Langford closed his eyes for the last time last night.
Rhys’ legacy will forever live on in the memories of those who’s lives he touched, of which there were so many.
