He suffered a fracture in his fibula which was the result of a heavy fall he went through in a village in Costa Rica. Maximy revealed that his right leg slipped and the left leg got stuck in the roots while he was discovering plantations.
The locals of the village had cared for him during his stay as his ankle was massaged by the people. He was able to ride his bike to the town.
After a few hours of the accident, he was examined by the doctor, given a crutch, and repatriated back to his home country.
