After serving for more than two and a half years as a meteorologist at WRAL News and Weather Forecasts, Zach Mlcoch has left the position.
Zach was passionate about the weather and wanted to be a reliable meteorologist since his childhood. During his university days, he worked as a part-time meteorologist at KCCI-TV in Iowa Area.
He worked there for ten months and left in May 2015. In the same month, he joined NBC and Fox-affiliated KNWA-TV and Fox 24 News where he worked as a full-time meteorologist for over 1.5 years.

Maloch became renowned after working with WRAL in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina. He joined the company in October 2019 and worked till June 2022. He has been approached for several interviews and people actually love seeing him on their TV.
According to his Linkedin Profile, it is confirmed that Zach has left his position as the on-air meteorologist in WRAL and people will no longer see him directing about the weather on WRAL TV.
What Happened To Zach Malcoch?
After having eight years of experience as a meteorologist, Zach wants to grow experience in managerial and administrative areas.
He left WRAL in order to re-join WINK News but this time not as a meteorologist. Zach is currently working as an account executive at WINK News.
The weather reporter had previously worked for WINK News in Fort Myers, Florida from October 2016 to September 2019. He was a meteorologist and weather news reporter at the same company. He had left WINK News to work for WRAL.
