However, the group’s actions are actually questionable in terms of legality, especially in light of the fact that AZ Patriots are now requesting the identification of asylum applicants before delivering them to federal investigators.
She was worried about whether churches were thoroughly screening immigrant families who had applied for refugee status during one of her protest campaigns, which would lead to her involvement in a federal civil rights lawsuit.
Harrison and other so-called Patriots began documenting busloads of migrants being brought to churches throughout the city in December 2018.
