Why Is Laura Kuenssberg Leaving The BBC? Since 2015, journalist Laura Kuenssberg has served as the BBC’s political editor; however, as of May 6, 2022, she has resigned from that role.
Laura has previously served as the BBC’s top political correspondent. She has 18 months of experience and further experience as Newsnight’s chief correspondent.
Kuenssberg also served as ITV News’ first business editor. Similar to that, starting in September 2022, she would serve as the host of BBC One’s Sunday morning politics program.

Laura Kuenssberg’s news of leaving the BBC has been making headlines since she revelead that she will step down from the position of political editor at BBC.
Laura has been working as a political editor since 2015, and people were shocked to hear her decision.
She departed from the post in May, and the possible candidate for the post is estimated to be deputy political editor Vicki Young, North America editor Jon Sopel, and economics editor Faisal Islam, who previously worked at Sky News.

She is just leaving the position but not BBC, and she will soon be seen on the political show BBC called Sunday Morning Politics as a host.
She had been working in the position for seven years, which she felt like a decade, and decided to move on.
Where Is Laura Kuenssberg Going?
Laura Kuenssberg is not going anywhere from BBC and will still be affiliated with the network. She will be seen as one of the presenters of the BBC’s Sunday morning politics show from September 2022.
She feels delighted to take this new position. Similarly, she shared that she feels excited to talk and explore the events that shape us as well as to challenge and listen to our politicians.
Laura will replace Sophie Raworth in the position from September, and her co-host will be Raworth, who had been presenting the show since January.
