Why Is Meteorologist AJ Waterman Leaving Fox 6 & Where Is He Going? Here Is What We Know About His Future Plans

AJ Waterman has been a meteorologist for FOX6 since 2019; most recently, he was mentioned in rumors that he would be leaving the show.

The anchor has worked for the Fox Corporation for less than ten years and has already been nominated for two Emmy Awards. She started working there in 2019. He is now a leader in the area because of his growth.

However, AJ himself has not addressed the rumors of him leaving Fox 6 anytime soon. He has also been posting pictures and daily weather updates on his Twitter account. The Fox 6 channel has also not spoken about Waterman leaving.

So at the moment, the news seems like it could just be a rumor. Waterman was active in groups like the American Meteorological Society and the Beta Alpha Chapter of Sigma Zeta Honors Society.

AJ also remarked how, even as a young lad growing up in New England, he had always been fascinated by the weather. He was exposed to severe weather, such as hurricanes and blizzards, starting at the age of four.

Aj has not spoken on the matter of him leaving Fox 6. So he has also not talked about what the future holds for him or if he has any plans for the future.

The meteorologist learned through his LinkedIn profile that in 2007 he worked at Blue Hill Observatory as a volunteer weather observation intern. He did, however, serve as a Precision Weather Service intern. He is still the media coordinator of F.O. Waterman Associates.

Nevertheless, he served as a meteorologist for LSC-TV News 7 from 2013 until 2015. He simultaneously served as the Vtrans VIAM Project’s main forecaster. Before joining Fox Corporation in 2019, he had previously worked for WMTV NBC 15, 1 News, WHDH-TV, WMTW-TV, & other networks.

AJ has never posted any pictures with a significant other on his social media. He has also never talked about his relationship status publicly.

So it is hard to tell if AJ is single or in a relationship right now. Regardless, AJ seems to be living a good life. He loves his job and he often loves to travel.

Judging from his social media presence, he seems to have fun and enjoys his life with different hobbies of his. He enjoys snowboarding and he has many other hobbies that he partakes in whenever he is not working.
