Joy Taylor received a heartfelt send-off on Monday from Colin, as she prepares to join the upgraded version of Speak for Yourself as part of Fox’s daytime lineup shuffle.

It was an exciting moment for two colleagues who had long worked together and had even navigated a pandemic together.

The programming changes were disclosed last week, including that Taylor would join Lesean McCoy and Emmanuel Acho on the newly created and named, Speak.

The New York Post reported back in July that there had been serious negotiations about partnering Acho with Taylor on FS1’s Speak for Yourself.

Taylor used her Twitter to announce her departure from the herd after three exciting years.

Colin Cowherd talked with Joy; he expressed his farewell, and the video is available on YouTube. It was an amazing moment for two coworkers who had been working together for a long time.

They even made it through a pandemic. The duo has collaborated on The Herd with Colin Cowherd since Taylor joined FS1 in 2016. Joy Taylor stepped in as co-host for years after Kristine Leahy left. When Leahy resigned to host her program, Taylor took over the job full-time.

Taylor was a terrific addition, filling in for Cowherd with a powerful voice while also bringing humor into the show. Cowherd wished Taylor well as she bid farewell to The Herd on Monday. In a really nice segment, the couple reminisced about their time together.

Many fans of the show loved the partnership of the duo, and some have even expressed their sadness after Joy left the show.

Joy Taylor’s age is 35 years, the American media personality was born in the year 1987.

Joy began her career in radio at Barry University in Miami Shores. She produced and interned at several Miami radio giants before earning a position as co-host of 790 AM’s “The Ticket’s Morning Show.”

Taylor has created a scholarship for Barry University students seeking a bachelor’s degree in communication disciplines. It was created to help the future generation of journalists and broadcasters.

She stated at the time that one of her personal goals is to promote diversity in the industry. She also established the Joy Taylor Foundation to aid the homeless and survivors of domestic abuse and promote literacy and youth empowerment in Los Angeles, Miami, Pittsburgh, and New York City.

During an episode of Undisputed in 2017, Joy Taylor claimed that she had been a domestic abuse victim. However, she did not reveal the identity of her abuser despite describing the event in detail.
