- Cohen believes Radziwill was the anonymous source, but she denies it and calls him “condescending”
Carole Radziwill, formerly of RHONY, took to social media, blasting executive producer and host of the reality series Andy Cohen for insinuating she was the anonymous source behind a not-so-flattering quote about the show.
It went the exchange between them started when Cohen, on his radio show Radio Andy over SiriusXM, revealed that he thought the person who gave the quote was, well, none other than Radziwill, which “trashed” the show’s newfound “transition” away from “lighter fare” comedy and into a “more ruthless operation” “involving detective work, opposition research and trying to get each other fired.”.

Radziwill responded on her Twitter account to Cohen’s accusation: “Hey Carole here. Someone can make a truthful observation & there is always one short-ish dude waiting to be offended.” She attaches a repost from a radio show with the relevant clip, hinting that Cohen was just creating a scene for no reason.
Cohen had said initially that he suspected Radziwill as the anonymous source because there are very few New York Housewives getting fired because of it, and she had taken to social media before to criticize him, saying it was odd she’d want to stay in the shadows now if it was not her.
That anonymous source called the new program “cringe,” using as substantiation an instance at Cohen’s baby shower, when Lisa Rinna ranted, “Dance for Andy and his baby — dance like your f—— lives depend on it,” and said that that indicated what the tenor of the show is currently: dance around like a puppet to make Andy Cohen happy.
Many on Twitter read Radziwill’s tweet as a barb against Cohen’s accusations, with some seeing it as a rejection of any indirect slight against her integrity and as one against Cohen for pretending to stir drama. The back-and-forth served to illustrate further the animosities that exist between Radziwill and Cohen, who together not only have a very long history but also a sordid one, dating back to her abrupt exit from the cast of RHONY in 2018.

From the career of Radzivill to such an exchange, all is meaningful in that she appears committed to speaking her mind and fighting her own battle in controversy, whatever the scene. All through her career, whether in journalism or the business of publishing, Radziwill has manifested an adeptness at making her way through such situations and getting herself expressed forthrightly in writing or public pronouncements.
This exchange with Cohen is just the latest of many, in which she probably sticks to what she truly values: open but uncomfortable conversation.
