Pete Davidson, the former Saturday Night Live star, is on a journey to remove nearly 200 tattoos from his body.
He aims to complete this process by the time he turns 40, marking a fresh start for the comedian. Davidson has invested around $200,000 in tattoo removal and has openly discussed the painful nature of the procedure.

Removing a tattoo requires several sessions, with black-and-white designs being easier to eliminate than colored ones.
Each session involves burning off a layer of skin, which then needs to heal for six to eight weeks, all while avoiding sun exposure. Despite the pain, Davidson sees this as a chance to move past some of the regrets tied to his tattoos.
His choice to remove his tattoos was partly driven by a desire for healthier coping strategies after he entered rehab in 2020. He has also mentioned that his extensive tattoos made it challenging to pursue acting roles, as it took time to cover them up for films.
