Kuzma, 29, who plays forward for the Milwaukee Bucks, proposed to Harlow, 30, on February 13. According to Vogue, Kuzma arranged a private flight to the Turks and Caicos Islands for a long weekend getaway, revisiting a special place they had enjoyed together in 2022. The plane was decorated with roses, balloons, chocolates, and Champagne, but Harlow was unaware of the proposal, thinking it was just an extravagant Valentine’s Day surprise.

He recited a poem he had written, ending with the question: “Will you be my wife?” Harlow revealed that she said yes before Kuzma even revealed the ring.

The engagement ring, described by Vogue as an “8.5-carat oval-cut ring with two baguette stones on the sides,” was designed by Kuzma himself. He told the magazine,

“I wanted to create something that embodied her essence—something elegant, yet timeless and simple.”

Upon their arrival, Kuzma had another surprise waiting for Harlow: their families and friends were gathered at a private villa, ready to celebrate their engagement together. The evening ended with a breathtaking fireworks display, adding an extra touch of magic to their celebration.
