Justin Baldoni has accused Blake Lively of hypocrisy in their ongoing legal dispute over the film “It Ends With Us.”
This claim arises from a court filing in which Baldoni’s legal team argues that Lively is being contradictory by seeking increased protections for evidence in the case while also making public statements about it.
The legal conflict began when Lively filed a lawsuit in December 2024, alleging that Baldoni had sexually harassed her during the production of “It Ends With Us.”
In retaliation, Baldoni filed a $400 million lawsuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and her publicist Leslie Sloane, accusing them of defamation and extortion.
Baldoni’s team asserts that Lively has intentionally sought media attention regarding her allegations against him. They highlight that she leaked details from a confidential administrative complaint submitted to the California Civil Rights Department, which they argue shows a calculated effort to gain public support.
In an amended complaint, Lively broadened her allegations, claiming that other women on the set faced similar discomfort. Her legal team presented new evidence, including communications with Sony Pictures and several witnesses, to bolster her claims.
