Ariana Grande has officially unveiled the tracklist for her upcoming album, Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead. She made the announcement on Monday (March 17), sharing that the album will feature six new tracks.
Most of these are completely new songs, but there’s also ‘End the World Extended,’ which is expected to be a longer version of the emotional opening track from the original Eternal Sunshine album.
In a simple video showing an unseen hand writing out the song titles, shared on both Grande’s personal Instagram and the Brighter Days account, the new songs include ‘Twilight,’ ‘andelion,’ ‘Past Life,’ and ‘Hampstead’—which rounds out the six additional tracks.
This announcement comes just one week after the Wicked star initially let fans know that a deluxe version of her seventh studio album was on the way, exactly a year after the original release of Eternal Sunshine in March 2024, which hit the top spot on the Billboard 200 for two weeks. The album also produced two No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100: ‘Yes?’ and ‘We Can Be Friends (Wait for Your Love).’
Not long after the deluxe album was announced, Grande revealed that she’ll be adding to the new music with a short film titled Brighter Days Ahead.
In this, she’s expected to reprise her character Peaches from the music video for ‘We Can’t Be Friends,’ inspired by Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
On March 12, the Grammy-winning artist shared a thrilling teaser for the visual project and tagged her long-time music video collaborator, Christian Breslauer.
Both the deluxe edition and the short film are set to premiere on March 28. The deluxe version features nine bonus tracks, including six new songs plus remixes with notable artists like Mariah Carey, Troye Sivan, Brandy, and Monica.
