Peter Andre and the producers of Love Island have responded to recent speculation that Princess Andre, Peter’s 17-year-old daughter, might join the Love Island villa in 2025.
This buzz started picking up steam after Princess’s recent breakup and her growing public presence, but both Peter and the show’s creative director have categorically denied these rumors.

Peter Andre’s Take on the Rumors
Peter Andre voiced his surprise and concern over the rumors about Princess potentially joining Love Island. In his weekly column for The Mirror, he mentioned,
“There’s been a lot of talk about Princess going on Love Island, and I don’t know where it came from.”
He confirmed that since she’s not yet 18,
“it’s not even an option” for her to be on the show this year. While he stated he wouldn’t stand in her way if she decided to apply in the future, he added,
“it’s every dad’s nightmare.”
Peter stressed that in the end,
“it’s about what makes Princess happy,”
and he’d be straightforward if she ever asked for his thoughts.
Love Island Producers Deny Princess’s Joining
Mike Spencer, the creative director of Love Island, also weighed in on the rumors, making it clear that the claims about Princess or TOWIE’s Ella Rae Wise entering the villa were unfounded. He pointed out that contestants must be at least 18 years old to apply.
This year, the youngest contestant so far is 22-year-old Shakira Khan, and previous younger participants like Gemma Owen and Molly-Mae Hague were both adults when they joined. Spencer confirmed that there won’t be any celebrity surprises, including Princess, for the 2025 series.
Family Views and Public Attention
Meanwhile, Princess’s mother, Katie Price, has encouraged her daughter to think about joining Love Island down the line. On her podcast, Katie said,
“I keep telling Princess, ‘Why don’t you do Love Island?’”
Nevertheless, Princess is currently focused on her career and has just wrapped up a long-term relationship, which may have contributed to the speculation.
A source close to her indicated that the breakup was amicable and that she’s dedicated to her career with “no place for a man” right now.
Princess is active on social media, sharing lifestyle posts with her large following, but she hasn’t confirmed any intentions of joining the reality show.
