Sunmbo Adeoye, the mother of two of singer 2face Idibia’s sons and the wife of Pastor Adeoye of Royalty Christian Centre in Lagos, has described what it was like growing up.

The beautiful mother of four expressed her gratitude for her 84-year-old mother in a message on her Instagram page published just a few hours ago.

Sunmbo Adeoye wrote “As little girls, my sister and I would hide inside Mum’s Land Cruiser whenever shes off to get her supplies at the depot.

Mum had a supermarket and was simultaneously running a restaurant at the staff canteen of Mulmaco and First Aluminium companies respectively.

We would cover ourselves in sacks (not without the help of her assistants) and only unveil when we are sure she’s too far to turn back home.

She was very industrious and still is to a large extent at 84 years old and her industriousness inspired and influenced our strong desire to achieve something.

Never underestimate the power of influence the person you constantly look up to, has over you. After all, as the saying goes, “We become like who we see.”

Remember, as we look up to admirable individuals and witness their determination, resilience, and hard work, we absorb those qualities and incorporate them into our own lives.

It’s through these examples that we learn, grow, and ultimately become who we aspire to be.

Thank you Mother for mirroring a Great Entrepreneurial Example to me.

You were my first business model and I promise to continue to embrace your industrious spirit, for it not only honors you but also inspires others to follow in that footsteps.
