MSNBC was barred from entering the courtroom during the Kyle Rittenhouse trial because the producer was following a van used to transport the jury.
Why Was James Morrison Arrested?
James Morison is the producer of MSNBC news. He followed the van on Thursday, 18th November, and tried to take photograph jurors.

He ran the red light, and authorities believed he was following the van with the jury but, NBC News said the authorities were mistaken for the individual’s intent.
The case of Rittenhouse has been on social media since last year. Rittenhouse was accused of a Kenosha unrest shooting case.
On August 25, 2020, Rittenhouse shot and killed two men while one got wounded in the arm. Attorney Corey Chirafisi was representing the case for Rittenhouse.
Everyone is keen to know what would the trial turn out in this case. This might be the reason his case is becoming very sensitive, and people are getting involved.
There were tweets on yesterday from the Kenosha Police Department, that a person alleging to be affiliated with a national media outlet was briefly taken into custody.”
Again another tweet read, “There was no breach of security regarding the jury, nor were there any photograph obtained.” And the investigation is on.

But, regarding his case, NBC spokesperson said, “While the traffic violation took place near the jury van, teh freelancer never contacted or intended to contact the jurors.
During deliberations, and never photographed or intended to photograph them. We regret the incident and fully cooperate with the authorities on any investigation.”

The police said he was charged with several traffic violations. As per Judge Bruce Schroeder, the jury van is equipped with blacked-out windows.

The windows prevent the jury from being exposed to “anything from one side or the other” while being brought to the courthouse.
Schroeder further said the matter is very serious, “I don’t know what the ultimate truth of it is.. but someone following a jury bus is an extremely serious matter.”
