Ms. Duarte suggested the concept to her friend Micah Bucey, 36, who is the pastor of the arts at Judson, a Greenwich Village church whose purpose includes encouraging creativity.

She ditched the idea of being an actor after she was not satisfied with herself and took up writing, she started as a storyteller and later landed jobs in several publications as a writer.

Amanda Duarte, the host of Dead Darlings, recently made racist remarks on her Twitter account.

Since she made racist comments, she had deleted her Twitter account but the social media platform is on the blaze.

In her now-deleted Tweet, she wrote, “I do wonder how these white supremacist lawmakers would feel if their little white daughters were raped and impregnated by black men.”

People are reacting to her Tweet, one Twitter user wrote, Want to take a moment to send a huge F**K YOU to Amanda Duarte. This tweet will still be here when you reactivate your account and search your name, you absurd racist idiot.

The 51-year-old Amanda has not given any clarifications or explanations about her tweet yet. She has disappeared from the digital world as of now.
