But Essex’s senior coroner Lincoln Brookes, sitting over a pre-inquest review hearing in Chelmsford on Tuesday, said there was “no evidence at this time to sustain the fear.”

According to a senior coroner, Archie had been “using and accessing TikTok” on the day he was discovered unconscious, but “no indication of any online challenge” was found.

An inquest review hearing heard on Tuesday that Archie had been “using and accessing TikTok” on the day he was discovered unconscious.

“There are no images or films on the download that show Archie was participating in any online challenge,” senior coroner Lincoln Brookes told an inquiry in Essex.

“At this time, there is no evidence to corroborate Ms. Dance’s anxiety, or fear, regarding the choking challenge or the blackout challenge, whether on TikTok or, honestly, on any other platform or provider.”

“MMA fighters, boxing, or music videos” dominated his search results, he explained.

According to the testimony, the Police ordered a “complete forensic download” of the boy’s phone.

Officers collected testimony from it on April 7 and again on June 13, according to the hearing in Chelmsford.
