Actor Bart Johnson, who is married to Blake Lively’s sister, has expressed regret for his seemingly negative remarks regarding Justin Baldoni, amidst the ongoing legal dispute between Baldoni and Lively.
In a recent turn of events in the legal conflict involving “It Ends With Us” co-stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, Bart Johnson, who is Lively’s brother-in-law and known for his role in “High School Musical,” has publicly apologized for his disparaging comments about Baldoni.

In December 2024, Johnson made a post on X (formerly Twitter) that appeared to target Baldoni indirectly. The post mentioned a “man bun,” a hairstyle previously worn by Baldoni, and referred to an individual as a “fraud.”
In the now-deleted post, Johnson, who is married to Lively’s sister Robyn, stated, “He dons the ‘costume’ of a hero, man bun included. He has utilized all the trendy phrases and buzzwords for his podcasts. None of it is authentic. It is all performance. And everyone has been deceived. For years.”
However, on January 28, Johnson released a statement on X expressing remorse for his earlier comments. He stated, “Whenever I have made unkind remarks about someone, I have regretted it. Fortunately, that is almost never the case, and certainly not when I am at my best.”
“Regardless of the truth or my opinion, even if I am attempting to convey a truth or defend someone, it is never appropriate. Even in situations where it may seem ‘justified’ or the right course of action, it makes no difference. There is a more constructive approach. It falls short of the standards I set for myself, and I regret it.”
In his apology, Johnson reaffirmed his dedication to positivity, stating, “If you follow me, you know it is rare to find more than one instance where I have criticized anyone on social media. It is not my style… We all have imperfections, and I am certainly a work in progress, striving to improve and be better.”
