Britney Spears is overjoyed to see her son, Jayden James Federline, following in her musical path. On Monday, she shared some videos of her spending quality time with her 18-year-old son at home.
In one clip, you can hear Spears cheering him on after he plays the piano, and she turns the camera to catch Jayden, who’s rocking a white T-shirt, sunglasses, and a beanie. He moves around as his proud mom praises his talent.
“He’s a genius and I’m in awe of him!!! I can’t believe he’s mine!!! I was honestly scared that’s not normal!!!,”
she captioned the post.
In another video, Jayden sits on a bench playing the piano while Spears walks behind him. “That’s incredible,” she says. “Jesus, that’s amazing.” The excited mom wrote, “WOW, WOW, WOW!!!” in the post.
Since reconnecting in November 2024, the singer of “Toxic” has been sharing photos and videos of her moments with Jayden. They got back together after some time apart when Jayden visited her in November, as reported by People.
In January, she gave fans a peek into how they spent the holiday season. In one clip, Jayden is seen unwrapping a box that holds a long-sleeved button-down shirt. “Nice, nice. Oh, that is nice,” Spears commented as Jayden proudly displayed the shirt. “Wow, that’s really nice.”

Spears has two sons, Jayden and 19-year-old Sean Preston, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline. In August 2023, Kevin and his family moved to Hawaii after his wife, Victoria Prince, landed a job at a local university. However, Jayden returned to Los Angeles shortly after he turned 18.
Spears had been estranged from both sons since early 2022, partly because of her provocative posts on Instagram. According to TMZ, Jayden and Preston did not attend Spears’ wedding to Sam Asghari in 2022. Now, her sweet videos with Jayden show that they’ve patched things up.
Kevin was granted full custody of Jayden and Preston in 2008, just a year after their divorce. It’s still unclear if Spears has also made amends with Preston, who currently lives in Hawaii with his dad.
