Ryan testified that Lori lied to him when she claimed her fourth husband, Charles Vallow, had died of a heart attack while speaking to him.
Moreover, Ryan claimed to have discovered the truth after visiting their home when he saw Cox sitting on the couch with a bandage covering his head.
In what he claimed was self-defense, Cox had killed Charles with a gun.
A recorded phone call between Ryan and his mother was played to the jury after the bodies of JJ and Tylee Ryan were discovered.
Ryan can be heard shouting at Lori on the phone, calling her a “murdering mother.”
There hasn’t been a verdict from the trial yet. The testimony in Lori Vallow’s trial will resume in court on Monday after a one-day hiatus on Friday.
Due to the case going more quickly than anticipated, Judge Boyce stated on Thursday that the trial would resume at 8.30 am MT on Monday.
The day after Tylee was last seen alive, Chad Daybell texted his wife Tammy Daybell a terrifying text, which the jury learned about on Thursday.
Tylee was last spotted in Yellowstone National Park on September 8, 2019.
Mr. Daybell texted his wife on September 9, saying, “I’ve had an exciting morning! Before the area around the Fire pit was too wet from the incoming storms, I needed to burn every piece of limb debris there.

On April 19, 2023, Ryan testified for the prosecution in his mother’s triple homicide case. Ryan is rightly angry with his mother, as revealed in the documentary.
Ryan cried as the prosecutors showed him pictures of his slain siblings, J.J. and Tylee, according to Insider.
The jury heard a moving 2020 phone call between Ryan and Vallow when they were both in jail.
Ryan claimed in the call that his mother had repeatedly lied to him while his brother and sister were absent.
Even worse, he said that she had texted him using Tylee’s phone to give the impression that she was still alive.
Throughout the call, Ryan emphasized multiple times that she was a murderer.
When Ryan had finished testifying, Vallow glanced at him with misty eyes, but Ryan avoided her gaze as he left the courtroom.
