“It was a pleased, fun last day on Earth for her, obviously until the end,” Julia’s mother, Monica Budzinski, said at her vigil on Sunday. But she was happy, laughing, and having a good time, and that’s how I’ll remember her.”

The Blue Jays’ game against Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday began with a moment of silence to remember Julia.
