“She received innumerable crowns & prizes after participating on the pageant circuit her whole life,” the family says, citing all Kailia had ahead of her and her accomplishments over her 16 years.

Her renowned ability as a contortionist had already resulted in professional touring employment offers. Moreover, she had recently been chosen to be a cheerleader at her high school the following autumn.
Not only that, but Kailia’s family claims she had a passion for aviation and planned to continue working in the entertainment sector while studying for her commercial pilot’s license.
Her mother wrote at the time, “I’m at a loss for words or ideas. A lovely newborn girl has passed away. Please respect our privacy while we grieve Kailia’s death. My kid for life “.
Her family has established a fund in her name at the Whatcom Community Foundation with the objective of giving resources to kids in need.

Kailia’s mother revealed her daughter’s death on Facebook on Monday, May 2022. In the post, Gatterman included a photo of Kailia smiling and posing in a tan, sequined outfit.

Birch Bay State Park, where Posey was discovered by police, is a 194-acre state park located along the shores of the Strait of Georgia, about nine miles from the Canadian border, with a gorgeous rocky beach and a huge camping area.
Posey was about to turn 16 and had attended her high school prom the previous weekend.
