Jamie Campbell has been diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) and has been getting treatment for cancer. He revealed cancer through a tweet he posted on March 17, 2022.
After the revelation, many support posts were seen flooded on Twitter. Tv personality and known people like Eric Smith, Roger Lajoie, Danielle Michaud, Laura Armstrong, and many more were seen sending prayers wishing him recovery.
Even after disclosure of his cancer, he has not taken leave from his hosting in the Blue Jays telecasts but is seen working in it.
He was seen talking about his cancer and shared that he chose to work to be an encouragement to the people receiving treatment in their battle with cancer.
Furthermore, Campbell added that he is there and will be seen daily in his work as a reminder that no one is alone in their battle with cancer.

Jamie Campbell is still working as the host of Toronto Blue Jays telecasts. It was revealed that Buck Martinez, an announcer and color commentator in Blue Jays, has been diagnosed with cancer.
He was absent from Sportsnet since April 2022 and shared his cancer diagnosis. Similarly, his broadcast partner, Dan Shulman, communicated through a tweet in June that Buck has completed treatments for cancer.
Similarly, he also shared that he will return to his work after the all-star break.
Stand Up to Cancer tribute is done annually, and this year’s tribute was done by Jay’s first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal.

Jamie extended his gratitude to Ken and Vladimir for the tribute and shared that Ken had been messaging twice a month to know about his treatment and well-being.
