Dr. Reza Adib, the new boyfriend of Annastacia Palaszczuk is a General Surgeon who specializes in laparoscopic surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, and obesity surgery.
His areas of expertise include advanced laparoscopic surgery, upper gastrointestinal surgery, and hepatobiliary surgery. Annastacia disclosed her new relationship with Dr. Reza, a multi-millionaire Brisbane specialist who specializes in weight loss surgery, in September 2021.
‘He is a handsome man,’ stated the state premier. ‘He is a really kind and compassionate, bright man with a fantastic sense of humor, and we are just starting to know one other,’ she says to Daily Mail.

Ms. Palaszczuk was photographed with the dashing Dr. Adib at the Caloundra Cup at the Sunshine Coast Turf Club on July 11. It sparked the rumors that the two were romantically involved.
Ms. Palaszczuk, who is married twice, debuted a stunning makeover during one of her daily Covid-19 press appearances and announced the news.
The 52-year-old has previously stated that her personal life has suffered as a result of her political career and that her hectic schedule made finding love nearly impossible.
‘It’s just not true that we all require a spouse to be happy,’ she stated two years ago. ‘Of course, it’s nice when it’s the right person, but it’s absolutely feasible to be single and very happy.’

Dr. Adib began his career in 1994 at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and founded the Brisbane Obesity Clinic in 2004.
According to the Daily Mail, Dr. Adib’s website advertises that he has completed over 20,000 surgeries and over 5,000 weight-loss treatments.

On Sunday, the Queensland premier, Annastacia Palaszczuk’s boyfriend, physician Reza Adib, joined him at the Solotel in Sydney for the meeting.
However, it has drawn criticism for abruptly inviting her boyfriend to a key meeting with the International Olympic Committee and Brisbane Olympics organizers.
Questions have been raised over why Dr. Adib agreed to come along in the first place, with Deputy Opposition Leader Jarrod Bleijie calling the situation “strange” and “not acceptable.”

‘I’ve simply got to say, it’s just a bit strange, the entire thing is bizarre,’ Mr. Bleijie said at a news conference on Monday. ‘No one else was there with their partners.’
‘It was a well-planned, official meeting with extremely important individuals, and the Premier’s boyfriend was present.’ ‘So I’m just saying, I looked at it, and I’m wondering why the Premier’s boyfriend was given a seat at the table.’ He had no business being there.’
A spokeswoman for the premier downplayed the importance of the Olympics meeting, calling it a “casual catch-up.” Furthermore, according to The Courier-Mail, Dr. Adib’s name was not listed on an official participant list for the conference.
After receiving a barrage of criticism and negative feedback, Queensland Premier Anna Bligh has admitted she made a “mistake”.
Ms. Palaszczuk said at a news conference on Tuesday that she made an “error” by inviting her spouse to the event. “I appreciate the comments made regarding this catch-up,” she told reporters.
“I admit that I made a mistake.” I should not have brought my colleague to the meeting. “Please accept my apologies. It was never my intention to upset anyone, and as I previously stated, it was a casual catch-up,” according to Skynews.
