Drake has settled his legal dispute with iHeartMedia over allegations tied to Kendrick Lamar’s diss track, “Not Like Us.”
The rapper had filed a petition in November 2024 in Bexar County, Texas, claiming that Universal Music Group (UMG), the parent label for both him and Lamar, made illicit payments to iHeartMedia to boost the track’s radio airplay.

Drake alleged that the song, along with its album art and music video, falsely accused him of heinous crimes, including being a sex offender and harboring sex offenders. While the details of the settlement remain confidential, Drake’s legal team confirmed that an agreement was reached that was “satisfactory to both sides.”

This resolution marks a partial conclusion to Drake’s broader legal battle. Although his claims against iHeartMedia have been resolved, his lawsuit against UMG remains active. Drake continues to accuse the label of engaging in “irregular and inappropriate business practices” by promoting and profiting from defamatory material.
According to court filings, he contends that UMG knowingly supported false allegations against him for commercial gain. A hearing on UMG’s motion to dismiss is scheduled in San Antonio later this month.
The feud surrounding “Not Like Us” has only heightened tensions between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, whose rivalry has captivated fans and critics alike.
While the diss track achieved critical and commercial success, it also sparked significant controversy. For now, Drake remains focused on holding UMG accountable while navigating one of hip-hop’s most high-profile disputes.
