Carmen Botha, a Gauteng resident, miraculously survived a zip line accident in 2016. At that time, she used to live in Pretoria, South Africa.
No one had the belief that the teenager would survive, even the doctors. After the incident, she got admitted to the Netcare Milpark Hospital, a private hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa.
After a month of her surgery, she started to talk and showed some promising signs of recovery, which surprised the medical team. Finally, after a year, she got released from the hospital.

Carmen Botha was 12 years of age at the time of her accident in 2016. Currently, she is 18 years of age.
The Pretoria native girl was a Grade 8 student when she suffered one of the most horrific accidents of her life. She almost broke every piece of her bone after plunging from a 15-m tall zip line.
Currently, the 18-year-old Botha is active on Facebook, and she has shifted to Gauteng, Centurion, with her family. The girl looks completely fine now.

Carmen Botha Parents’ Details
Carmen Botha’s parents will always be indebted to the paramedic crew members, Jared Mc Dowall and Adrian King. They were the two to fly their helicopter for Carmen’s rescue operation.
Carmen’s mother, Gerna Botha, knew about the seriousness of the accident when one of Carmen’s teachers called her about the incident. She almost broke down after listening to her daughter’s injuries.
However, Mrs. Gerna didn’t lose her faith and did everything possible to save her child. She will always remain thankful to Netcare Milpark Hospital Team for saving her daughter’s life.
