According to New Zealand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the family is receiving assistance for the boy, who is a New Zealand citizen.
Despite not yet receiving an official report on what caused Cairo’s death, a resort spokesperson stated that the incident area had been isolated, so guests were no longer at risk.
Both the police and the electricity company are conducting investigations, the spokesperson said. In regards to the next steps, we must wait and work with the local authorities.

According to the group, Clarke and Amber are the most loving, kind-hearted, and genuine people they know.
They are always willing to help others in need, and we appreciate any help you can provide.
Investigators have confirmed that the resort is cooperating.
The family has received our sincere condolences, and we are thinking of them during this difficult time, according to a Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific spokesperson.
‘Our management team is conducting an extensive investigation into the incident and cooperating with the authorities,’ the company reported.
