It was only when Russell Taylor and his little child pornography operation was busted that the FBI caught a break and managed to get what they needed to search Fogle’s house, where they found on his computer a good deal of child pornography, which was enough to finally bust him.
If that wasn’t enough they also subpoenaed the text messages between Fogle and Cindy Mills, a Subway franchisee whom Fogle was having a sexual relationship with at the time. The texts apparently involved Jared admitting to abusing kids as young as nine and up to age sixteen. He also requested that she put herself on Craigslist to sell her body for sex. And he wanted her to arrange for him to have sex with her sixteen-year old cousin. This just keeps getting worse doesn’t it? Needless to say Subway let go of him the same day as his arrest, which says that something shady was already going on. You might think no, there’s no way that a big corporation like Subway would let something like this slide, but keep reading.
Apparently Mills had told Subway’s corporate management about Jared, but they’d done nothing because he was technically not a Subway employee, so there was no violation that had to do with them. Plus, once asked, they stated that they had no record of her allegations. Either Mills was trying to save face or corporate circled the wagons as has been known to happen, cutting ties with Jared and tossing one of their own under the bus without a moment’s hesitation. Still don’t want to believe that this kind of thing could happen? Subway wanted to wash their hands of Jared quickly, and before it got around that someone had blown the whistle in a room full of deaf ears.
Now, see if you can believe this part. Jared wanted five years for what he’d done. FIVE YEARS for abusing children and engaging in child pornography. If you’re blood isn’t boiling at this point, you might not have kids, or you might be a calmer person than others. In the end, he got about thirteen years before he could be eligible for parole, and he’ll be forced to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. Where Are Jared Fogle Kids? Son Brady Fogle And Daughter Quinn Fogle
Jared Fogle’s kids, Brady Fogle and Quinn Fogle, are currently with their mother, Kathleen McLaughlin, after she won custody over them.
Although there is no information about their present whereabouts, it is known that they live with their mother and her family in Indiana.
On November 16, Jared Fogle and his wife Katie’s divorce was finalized, four days before the former Subway spokesman’s sentencing to 15 years in prison.
Reportedly, Katie received $7 million from the disgraced pedophile and consented to the settlement only when he rescinded his petition to be allowed to meet their children.
In September 2015, Katie filed a petition for sole legal and physical custody of Jared Fogle Kids.
Following discovering her husband’s double life during an FBI raid, Katie and her children departed from Indiana promptly.
The plea deal he accepted required him to compensate his 14 underage victims with a total of $1.4 million, which meant that each victim received $100,000 from the millionaire.
While his defense team argued for five years, prosecutors agreed to pursue a sentence of just over 12 years in jail for Fogle, but later Judge Tanya Walton Pratt ruled to put him in federal prison for 15 years.
Jared Fogle Arrested For Child Exploitation
Jared Fogle is currently incarcerated in a correctional facility in Colorado, serving a 15-year sentence.
Fogle’s encounter with a Journalist in Sarasota, Florida, in 2007 was the catalyst for his arrest by state and federal law enforcement agencies.
While in Sarasota, Florida, for a health event as part of his speaking tour, he met Rochelle Herman-Walrond, a Journalist and radio host.
Rochelle reported to the Sarasota Police Department that Fogle had made inappropriate comments about middle school-age girls, which prompted an investigation by state and federal law enforcement agencies.
FBI authorities discovered that Fogle had traded sexually explicit pictures and videos of children, some as young as six, with Russell Taylor, during the investigation into Taylor’s child pornography operation.
They later raided Fogle’s Zionsville Residence on July 7, 2015, and arrested him on distribution and receipt of child pornography charges.
In 2008, while having a sexual relationship with Subway franchisee Cindy Mills, Fogle exchanged text messages with her, which the FBI subpoenaed after his arrest.
Fogle’s text messages to Subway franchisee Cindy Mills included conversations about sexually abusing children aged nine to 16.
It also had a conversation with Fogle, encouraging her to sell sex on Craigslist and requesting that she facilitate a sexual encounter with her 16-year-old cousin.
Her attorney claimed that she had brought the text messages to the attention of Subway’s management. Still, they allegedly did not take action as the Company did not directly employ Fogle.
