After completing graduate school, Jean-Pierre began her professional job. She was granted the director of legislative and budget affairs position for New York City councilman James F. Gennaro.

In Washington, D.C., Jean-Pierre was recruited in 2006 to work as Walmart Watch’s outreach supervisor. She achieved significant benchmarks through perseverance and dedication.

Moving on, a well-known American political advocacy group named the lady as a senior advisor and national spokesperson for the 2016 presidential election in April 2016.

She was tasked with advising the American people and conveying the Campaign’s message. Jean-Pierre’s strong work ethic and political savvy made her an essential part of the Campaign.

She had to ensure the public understood the president’s message and counsel the press office on relations strategy.

On May 26, 2021, she achieved a new career high point when she led the first White House press briefing.

She did so as the first Black woman and the first publicly LGBTQ person to do so since 1991. Jean-Pierre’s outstanding work and contributions were noted by the Biden-Harris administration.
