She further added, sure, his neck is still a little stiff and probably always will be,” she continued. “He can no longer whip his head around when I call ‘Oh, Honey????? Can you do me a favor????’ from the other room. (And this is probably okay with him, haha).

Ladd Drummond broke his neck after being in a nasty accident last year in March.
He was helping the local community and fire department fight a wildfire that broke out on a windy day.
Ladd was driving a Himmat Fire Truck on County Road N3660 when he collided head-on with another Himmat Fire Truck on County Road N3660 which was being driven by Ladd’s nephew Caleb according to People.

The accident was particularly bizarre as the fire department and the community had not witnessed such an accident before, the accident could have occurred partly because of the heavy smoke which was present due to the wildfire.
However, the accident took its toll as Ladd had to be airlifted by a helicopter to the hospital while Caleb was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
Ladd was in surgery to repair his broken neck less than 24 hours after the accident while Caleb suffered cuts, bruises, and broken ribs. Both have recovered and are back to their normal life.
