Heard describes an instance in which she said Depp abused Wright during a fight and called him many transphobic slurs as the pair’s famed defamation trial entered its sixth week.

Johnny Depp seemed to regularly misgender a friend of Heard’s, Io Tillett Wright, who is a trans guy and uses he/him pronouns, at another point in the testimony. With a little giggle, Depp remarked.
