Nevertheless, he has always been rumored to be exiting his position due to his falling age. The 74-year-old is currently the third oldest justice on the Supreme Court.
The Justice had begun his career as a near outcast. With a tenure of more than 30 years as of 2018, Thomas has been the Court’s longest-serving member.
Justice Thomas Wants Scouts To Reconsider Same-$ex Marriage and Contraception
Thomas had argued in a concurring opinion released on Friday about the Same-$ex marriage and contraception. He had concurred with the majority in the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. Thus, the Justice says that the court should go for gay marriage, birth control, and the basic right to privacy. Notably absent: interracial marriage.
