According to her LinkedIn, she previously worked as a reporter for Channel 9 before moving on to KRIV in Houston and finally returning to Central Florida. She covered sports extensively at FSU and also worked as a sideline reporter for ESPNU during home football games.
The Seminole County-born is a Florida State University graduate. She received a Bachelor of Arts in communication with a minor in Spanish.

Alexa took over the morning traffic report as Deneige left for Charlotte for a new job role. Lorenzo’s first day was on Jan. 10 from 4:30 to 7 a.m., where she joined anchors Kirstin Delgado and Christian Bruey.
