Furthermore, Sternberg announced on 28 December 2021 that she is pregnant with a baby. It might be the reason for her break since she is due in April.

The new episode tonight clearly implied that Barnes would be gone for a long, but “for a time” does not equal “forever.” She intends to use her maternity leave to spend quality time with her child.

We did learn at the conclusion of tonight’s episode that there is a new agent coming on board, portrayed by Dylan McDermott.

We all saw a brief preview of him in the commercial, and that’s it for now. It’s unclear whether or not we’ll see Barnes again this season.
