Following a stroke in May last year, John Fetterman was rushed to The George Washington University Hospital for testing that has now disproved the possibility that he had another stroke.
He was hospitalized on Wednesday after feeling dizzy at a Senate Democratic retreat.
In the initial press release, Fetterman’s office stated: “Doctors are performing more tests, and John is staying overnight for observation. Initial tests did not reveal any indication of a second stroke.”
“About an hour ago, Senator John Fetterman received the results of his MRI,” said a new statement released on Thursday by Fetterman’s office.
According to the results of the Scan and all other tests John’s doctors conducted at George Washington University Hospital, there is no chance of a new stroke.
Following a stroke the previous year, Fetterman underwent surgery to install a pacemaker and defibrillator.
