On 21 February 2023, Watkins declared her commitment to USC (University of South Carolina). She chose the Trojans over South Carolina and Stanford.
For Sierra Canyon in Los Angeles last season, the guard averaged 24.5 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.8 steals, and 2.0 blocks. While Juju Watkins stars for the women’s basketball team, Bronny James (LeBron James’ son) stars for the men’s team.
Judea has won two gold medals with USA Basketball and holds the title of Gatorade Girls Basketball Player of the Year in California.
Watkins has advanced through the juvenile ranks by showcasing her broad skill set. She showed off her skills on the wing and around the rim during her junior season at Sierra Canyon (California).
